Terms and Conditions
Should you wish to make a booking, a short term holiday rental agreement is entered into between the landlord and the prospective tenant in his or her personal capacity as a natural person.
In order to populate an invoice personal information is called for to identify the contracting party beyond reasonable doubt. Such personal information is kept as a record in an electronic format, never to be disclosed to any third party other than if required to do so by law.
A maximum number of 10 persons sleeping are allowed, no smoking in the home and no pets of whatever description are permitted.
The daily rates quoted in the “Accommodation” tab include electricity consumption of 110 Kwh per day.
Any excess consumption above this level will be recovered from the Damages and Breakages deposit mentioned below at the rate applicable to the >600 Kwh bracket.
The home and any of its facilities or appliances are used entirely at the tenant’s own risk.
The home is not to be used for any functions of any description and is not available to any persons involved with or participating in the Plett Rage.
Cancellation Policy:
A 50% down payment is payable by EFT to secure the booking and reserve the home.
Other than for the peak December season cancellations are free and the deposit will be repaid in full. For the December peak season, should the booking be cancelled more than two months before the intended date of arrival 100% of the booking deposit will be refunded. If cancelled more than 3 weeks before the intended date of arrival, 50% of the booking deposit will be refunded.
Damages, Departure Clean and other Deposit:
Two weeks prior to arrival date the balance of the rental together with a partially refundable deposit of R 7 500 is payable by EFT. This deposit is applied to any damages, excessive soiling, breakages, departure clean and any excess electricity consumption above the daily Kwh allowance as determined by the meter readings on arrival and again on departure. The residue of the deposit is refunded within 14 days of completion of the departure clean.
